Our world depends heavily on the supply of energy from coal, natural gas and oil. These are considered non renewable  and are finite—their supply has limits and will continue to become less available in quantity and at stable prices.

Renewable energy resources are constantly replenished and will never run out. Renewable energy resources include: solar, wind and biomass. More information about the basics of renewable energy can be found at National Renewable Energy Laboratory web site, a US DOE funded research and information arm.

Our commitment to the efforts to foster the production and utilization of renewable energy began with the development of Pine Lake Corn Processors in Steamboat Rock, Iowa, a 20 MGY Fuel ethanol production facility. The plant began operation in 2004.

Since Pine Lake we have worn many hats on multiple ethanol and renewable energy projects; from early company formation, site selection and Business Planning through capitalization and loan closing. In addition we have served as owner’s representative through various stages of construction including contract administration and management.
